I watched the movie before reading the book, so I wasn't really able to picture the characters in my head.Overall, a book about depression, that's not really depressing at all.

Absolutely wonderful. I liked this book more than LOTR.Second reread before the movie is released.

Such a sad,beautiful soul.My favorite poems from this collection were The Applicant,Tulips,Elm,Lesbos,and Berck Place.

This book was a bit of a letdown after the brilliance of the first two books.I like the color use on the cover,oh my that gorgeous dress! I wish there had been an epilogue or something. It would have been nice to see if life went well for everyone.I shall miss you Lend :(

The story draws you in, you learn some new words, you know it’s the story of the ups and downs of a relationship told through a series of dictionary entries.A short but intelligent read that, while it won't change your life, is definitely worth your time.

This book is perfect for a day- off college.It has a very floating and quick storyline,but if you were expecting a mermaid story like I did then you will be very disapointed.

Even though,I really enjoy reading stories about circus and their background,sadly this book did not work for me.Slow storyline,poor prose.

I saw the film Coraline, before reading this book.The movie however, had much impact on me.But, for me,the book lacked in writing.

This is an excellent book, if you've read Neil Gaiman's work before you'll know much what to expect.Loved the dedication part of the book.Gaiman is such a brilliant writer,no doubt.
