Starting a journey. I have a three book edition of his dark materials. I’ve never read them before but they are somewhat considered a fantasy classic.. and there’s a show someone said was now on tv and .. Well… I guess I figured I needed to get a move on and start this series.

Easy to read , fun little Cinderella type story. Very light.. thinking 3.5 rating ? 3.75? Let’s solve the mystery and find out

Honestly I’m not enjoying this last installment as much, so my reading has slowed significantly. Hopefully the next book I grab gets me into the groove again. The first two were such masterpieces. I loved them. The third was not as good but still enjoyable. This one has been boring and too up in the clouds.. it’s reaching. You can tell the author was DONE and wanted to just tie it together somehow.
