Every time I try the "compare books" link at the very end it keeps trying to get me to rate Lonesome Dove. WTH. Not anywhere near my subset of likes. Really want a peek at the code that keeps bringing it up. ...And ok, someone to explain the code, if I were to get a look at it.

I really want a large dish of meat and cheese at this point. Thank goodness the dessert section isn't that lengthy.

The great thing about reading a book with an index - if you dislike a character you can check when her last appearance/death occurs, and feel relief. Another reason to love reading history.

Yeek, have now learned not to look under the tag History or Non Fiction and to expect to see that - since the lists are fairly often full of many novels, not even pretending to be historical (as in, the author probably would be surprised by the list). Again, historical fiction not = history. But best I should go look at lists by librarians...

You can always tell when I've been looking at someone's lists because bam, suddenly I add a ton more books. Because I've only just then had a "oh right, I did read that" moment.

I have a large collection of ghost story anthologies, and I've read some but not all of them. Currently dithering over whether these should go in already read or to be read shelf.
