I like this book, I swear. January was simply a different time… but I’m getting back to it all.

I mean… I’ve read more uninteresting things, but… this is getting up there.

I guess I was hoping for a more pop-science approach as opposed to a white paper/scientific thesis, but… it seems like I’ve gone through most of the setup, and now there’s one more 30 PAGE chapter of exposition (?) before we get to the “good stuff”…?

I love this book. A bit more preachy, than the last one but… it’s son fun.

Almost to the end!

After a trip to Italy - which included losing my first copy of this book - and seeing the Dome itself… finally.. we have nearly completed this book!

My trip to Italy is roughly 9 days away. This book is interesting. I will be visiting this landmark… but I am not a smart man. And I know nothing of architecture or mathematics - to this degree at least.

So… I like the story. But the technical bits are definitely over my head.

Mann uses so many words to say almost nothing.

I’m sure this book is great for some people, but maybe I’m just not that intellectual.
