Dan Haggerty, the actor best known for playing Grizzly Adams on the TV show of the same name, passed away today at the age of 74.
I met him at a charity event for a Southern Oklahoma animal park last year, and I can't even describe what an amazing person he was.
This is someone I actually met and talked to for hours. He was a true lover of animals.
And life.
Rest in peace, Grizz. We love you.
