Ugh! Very lengthy and I’m not a fan of fiction…but here I go. I would say the length is comparable to 3 books so I would say I met my reading goal for the year.

This book is required reading for one of my DNP courses! Yay! My kind of homework!

I don't want to put this book down, which is a problem, as I can't get anything else done. It's not all that well written, but the level of bad practice is astounding. For one example, one of a myriad in this case, reinjecting DISCARD blood back into the patient! It's called discard blood for a reason!!! Even worse, reinjecting that discard blood back into cancer patients that are immunosuppressed and delicate.

After that bit on ergot I will star far away from rye bread.

I have been waiting MONTHS for this to come in from the library. Finally! So far, a page turner. I'm booked!

I start reading this tomorrow! It's been sitting on my bedside table far too long. I took a sneak peek and there are included photos. Baby Barack photos! That alone is worth it.

Look what just came in from the library!! Right on time for Halloween! Basically, the housework will have to slide, there's nothing to be done about it, due dates and all, and I have a stack!

Ooooh, she's a vengeful ghost elk. Scary moment, last night, as I was the only person in the house, and then heard a strange dragging sound. I called out, "hello, hello?", my heart pounding in my chest. Thinking, oh no!......it's the ghost elk coming for me. Just then, my kitty rounds the corner, dragging her favorite toy down the hallway for me to play with her. Phew! It's all good!

Page turner!! There goes chapter 1! I'm a bit nervous as I'm not a fan of horror or having to sleep with the lights on. But really, how scary can a ghost elk be? I'm about to find out!

Nothing like a big, juicy novel for the summer. Just started reading and, so far, momma likes! A psychiatrist and French Impressionism, 2 areas of interest for me. Will post more when I've finished.
