Iv'e only read the 20 page prologue and it seems to be really good so far and the prologue wasn't a catch-up. Much like the last book it told an important part in the book. It was about a man who called himself Bors which is what he was named I guess. Anyway the Dark One comes to a masquerade party and demands them to find Rand, Perrin, and Mat. Which the man who called himself Bors watched and The Dark One...

See...that's the thing the personality of Rand is a bit puzzling . He seems to be the puzzled one, Mat is more of the talkative and greedy one, and Perrin is the slow one. But it does show characteristics in the character. Like when Mat's faliure was he got the evil dagger. Rand's failure was that Thom is dead (WRONG Moiraine SAID HE MIGHT BE ALIVE!!!) and Perrin's is that Wind died a tragic death.

Well...at Shadar Logoth it really helped the charicteristics of Perrin. This is because of how he realized he could speak to wolves and be allies with wolves. Another one is Mat with the dagger. When they hit Cameleyan Mat started acting weird and thus reveling that the dagger was evil and he couldn't take it off.

I would hang out with Thom because how awesome he is! He can literally juggle knives and tell really cool legends and be really cool and in the book it says he migt be ALIVE!!!!!!!! YES! WOO! HOO!

The question is what to choose. Robert Jordan uses a lot of description that really makes the story better. Like when The Dark One gave him the clay doll dream where it was another them. Robert brought so much description I could hear The Father of Lies literally yell die while cruching the clay figures.

This book just gets better and better... Well the Author really nailed most of the craft and Rand really has to make tough choices. One that effected other characters was when rand let Mat keep the dagger from Shadar Logoth. Thus making him evil and wan to kill Moiraine.
