I believe that the personality of Jamie helped the story move. I mean, he has two girls that both want to date him, and most men are lucky if they get one. He's also good at what he does. If he wasn't, a lot of this book and this book and the previous one would just be about training, and more training, and even more training.

I think the message that the author is trying to tell me is not to give up hope, and that when it looks bad, there's always a good side to this.

I believe if it was told from the vampires point of view, it would be very different. Instead of being out there searching, the main character would be trapped in a cell unable to escape and have a visitor every once and a while.

I picked the book because I was interested in the title, then I read a little bit of the inside flap, and I wanted to read more.

I would give the award to Wiki, for being the smartest person in the entire group. Mainly, the group consists of cricket players and not so smart nerds. Wiki being the smartest of them all.

It is very important. If they were at Disneyland right now, it would not make any sense. They have to be in the never ending staircase in the sleep. It's all very complicated, but if you read the book, it would make more since.

I believe that with what is happening now, is that raven will escape from the facility with the girls. So will wing and his father. Not sure about Otto.

The author makes it seem realistic by adding feeling to the characters, along with basic physics. There are multiple parts that seem impossible, but they happen anyway. There are also parts that seem that they come from the future. But altogether, this book is realistic.

It does not say what year it takes place. With the technology outside of the school, I would say it takes place during the year 2000. It would be different if the time period happened at a different time. Such as if it took place during 1970, the guards would not have their weapons that they have. H.I.V.E Mind would not exist (The schools super computer.) The students would not have the technology that they have

While I'm reading the overlord protocol, I find myself thinking about Just what is happening in the book. Or simply remembering what happened the first time I read this, back in fourth grade. And then filling in the blanks.

I believe that the main character in this book is making good decisions. He wants to try to escape from HIVE, which can be both. It would be bad for the Headmaster, Dr. Nero. But it would be good for Otto, Wing, and whoever else would join them for their escape.

This book is off to a good start. With the plot line starting to set in, along with some mystery. I have not yet figured out how most of the characters got there, but it seems that they had all done something that would get them qualified.

I'm liking the opening to this book. It puts in some suspense from not knowing what is going to happen.

No I would not. He is way past middle school, probably a young adult past high school. Also, Mark (The main Character) Seems to be slowly losing his mind. I'm not sure if it's because of the flare, or just from surviving for this long.

If my book was a game, it would be like candy land. With little traps and shortcuts. At the end would be the maze, and at the beginning would be the town. There would also be a hard spot in the middle, where they meet the psychopaths running around the fire. You would need a special way to get around it.

Family outweighs everything. What supports this is the fact that part of their group ran away. Instead of just letting them run, Mark and Alec are going after them.

Yes it would make a good movie. The first on is already a movie, but this one is the prequel to it. It explains what it was like before the maze, and what actually happened during the flares.

I believe that the changes the character makes is greatly because of the setting that he is in. Since he is in a very poor area with Red, he couldn't just stroll down the street like he owned the place. Also, he is limited to the places that Red will let him go to. James is under the influence of alcohol, being forced to drink it at an illegal club, made in an old factory.

My suggestion to the character would be to make a plan. And to take a rest.
