PAST THE HALFWAY POINT

It's been a long time since a book has made me cry. This was a lovely, well-written, and deeply empathetic YA tale -- and no eye-rollingly overpowered teenage assassins or love triangles to be found. Definitely worth a read.

Wow. I could not get into this book.

I'm really enjoying this book so far (it's a super fun read) but I wish it were New Adult instead of YA. It's hard for me to believe that the best assassin in the land is a teenager. :/ I was a teenager once. They do NOT have their sh*t together. Not enough to be the best assassin in the land. Anyway, fun read so far.
