I have had this book on my list since I have heard about it - I don't know what stopped me from purchasing it or checking it out from the library for this long - but I finally bought it after hearing Ross Gay read the essay about the tomato plant he carried on a plane for a This American Life episode. It made me so happy on a Monday morning that I thought, that's it. I have to get it! Loving it so far.

I'm reading this for the Book Club discussions I host at my workplace - to be honest, I wasn't sure it would be gripping, but literally from the first page of the introduction, I am hooked and have learned so much in the 4 chapters I have read.

I'm on Book 3 in this book and loving it! I am eager to get to the ending because I need to know how it'll end for Nina, Sofia and the Count. Will he remain in the Motel he's been sentenced to forever?
