Finished the first half of the book, which was a novelization of the movie. It was really well written and for the most part kept true to the movie script, which I've read before and I've watched the movie almost 100 times. Excited to read the sequel part next, I wonder if that's a novelization of the second movie too, though I've only seen that movie once

I had high hopes for this one, but so far it's letting me down. Too much religious overtones and mentions of god and heaven. Could I please have a ghost story that doesn't have to do with Judeo-christain mythologies?
