Better yet, what’s the reason behind describing her eyes every time she looks at Zander’s anyway? The unnecessary repetition seriously pulls me out of the story.

As someone who has a brother who is a Capricorn… girl, I get it, but God damn. So much of this book is Norma pointing out Lyle’s bad qualities without giving much attention to all the good he has done. Nuance and further observation are needed here.
