Slept like shit so I jumped a decent percentage in this book last night and at 2am when I was ready to try settling into bed again I murmured to my plants "christ this book is good"

I'm always waiting for a freaky commentary on current social media issues and they never go quite hard enough for me. I'm interested in what this is setting up though 👀

This is my bedtime read so it's going to take me forever to read it (unless I have a shitty sleep night) but I'm loving it so far. The style of writing is perfect for me, and the world is built in a way that feels epic in scope but is prevented in a way that doesn't leave me lost. The second naming thing is *great*

It's okay that last conversation didn't make me cry or anything, that's fine

I'll never sleep until this book is done apparently

Had to stop reading because for once, the book is the thing keeping me awake. Book too good, can't sleep

May as well go again, this time with audiobook. The first half of this year is not great for the amount of spoons I have for reading

I've been reading this slowly because I've been falling asleep easily this week (I mostly only read ebooks at bedtime) but I'm genuinely not sure how I'm going to pick my next book. This has a vibe that I'm adoring, especially with the villain found family aspect, and I think I'm actively going to miss these characters until--JFC FEBRUARY??? ***cries***
