i think the last time i read this book, i had to have been in middle school . . . but it's spooky szn, and i still remember how mary downing hahn was the first and perhaps only author to ever genuinely scare the living daylights out of me, so here we are!

sobbing and crying for very specific reasons but i just mostly feel right in the chest bc oh yes this is such a sweet story so far, but starting to think that really, your person should be someone who grabs you by the stupid face and goes “stop saying you’re fine with being sad stop it stop it stop it” and oh besties!

i swear rf kuang wrote this book for me but in a way that makes me want to curl into a ball

this book is wild bc apollo will really be out here going “i’m literally the best? worship me? love me?” and then 200 pages later i’m feeling oddly teary bc he really is some bisexual loser who has never gotten over like two break ups. a+ character design
