30 minutes into this audiobook and i’m already wondering how tf people thought this story could ever be deemed a love story, when you can tell just how much the dreadful protagonist is trying to justify his own deeds. anyways i’m going to strangle our protagonist :)

girls will space out during the entirety of all too well (ten minutes) by taylor swift and logical by olivia rodrigo and would've could've should've by taylor swift and then go "you know how else i can make myself sad? reading a book that i know is going to make me feel sad" and then go do it to themselves because they have so much anger building up inside. but anyways!

oh man this book is already gonna kill me a little bit i think—

not necessarily because i’m ace myself, but because i do think so many queer people feel something along the lines of “but what if i don’t want this for me/what if the reality of what’s considered ‘normal’ love isn’t in the cards for me” and it makes me feel a certain kind of way 😕
