Very formulaic and I’m not a fan of the choppy narrative, but it’s not at the point I’d drop it. Yet.

This book is just crazy, it's like Beaton had a tonne of ideas for stories, but none of them could be stretched to novel length, so she just strung them together one after the other instead...
