Pierre Tassé (Enjoying Books) is finished with Primary Target (Forging of Luke Stone #1)
I started with book #2 which was a mistake. Loved it so I decided to read book #1 and found that there was too much that led up to Book #2 that I was losing interest.

Pierre Tassé (Enjoying Books) is 50% done with State of Terror
There is so much political inference about an "old inept administration" that it slowed my reading down a little drawing (what I beleived) to be Mrs Clinton's input. The story so far is really good and has me not wanting to turn the audio book off. Looking forward to the rest.

Pierre Tassé (Enjoying Books) is reading The Scarlatti Inheritance
I'm a 3rd of the way through listening to the book. It has me intrigued and wanting more. The narrator, Stephen Hoye, does a great job to add to the drama. A longer than normal book but my first book by this author. Most have watched Bourne but to dive into Ludlum's writing...as it stands right now I would say to reserve your copy tout de suite

This one will take a while to read. After a very "Republican" introduction (which should have been apolitical rather than political, the book began. I quickly realized this one take a while as the stories are "real", they are soldiers. I served for 40 years in Canada and empathize with their feelings their hurt, their patriotism.

Pierre Tassé (Enjoying Books) is on page 180 of 458 of The New Girl (Gabriel Allon, #19)
A weird setting and not Daniel Silva's normal writing or plot...just a little far fetched right now...maybe it'll turn around as it gets further into the story. So far ...not getting the normal interest he usually generates from me.

Finding the reading a little slow (for a Baldacci book) it seems more like a murder mystery and convoluted. As in all mysteries, I have a feeling who did it and waiting for the end...

Pierre Tassé (Enjoying Books) is starting Mission Critical (Gray Man, #8)
Not really liking the jumping from past to present throughout the first part of the book. To me, these things should be addressed in the prologue of the book and we go from there.

As Toni said in one of the reviews "The highly descriptive writing style is quite exhausting to read"...that is one of the reasons I set this book down often!!!

Exciting book so far but ...well, there are always things we do not like and, without revealing parts of the book, let me just say that this is another book that introduces a horror against Sigma and I am anxiously awaiting to see how Rollins deals with this development.

A huge introduction but Rollins' writing is something that captures the inquisitive nature of the reader. Now to set the book aside for the night and dwell on some of the though provoking ideas he brings forth....love books that make you think...don't you think? lol

Book started out with me wondering what I had got myself into. Lots of dreary details, that given my background, seemed obvious. As I got further and further into this book, I found I have a hard time putting it down. Mayer is doing an excellent job in captivating all types of audience backgrounds. Don't let the glossary at the beginning stop you from reading the book...at least so far.
