Too many abbreviations ie RVA, EEV, etc that are all in an appendix at the end of the book. But they are annoying to keep looking up and really distract from the story line. At least Gerritsen has not fallen into the usual US author trap of telling us the hero has a brilliant IQ, came top of the class, is a really great guy AND oh yeah he was also the best track and field or NBA, football etc ever seen.
