I know Snow is an unreliable narrator but I think the biggest thing to stick out to me so far is the FOOD. Going from “we only have cabbage soup” to theres eggs and meat and bacon and oh BTW we get free lunches at school and I have enough extra to bring to my tribute so she doesn’t die before I have the chance to exploit her for my own gain !!!!!

Manipulative, power seeking, entitled.
There is zero sympathy in me for him, but I’m excited to see how the rest of the book plays out. Surprisingly have avoided most “spoilers” for this book.
