I honestly have no clue how to pick up the lingo in this- there are barely any context clues. "Slep" ? "Adar" ? I have no clue what any of these terms mean

The way everything in this is phrased is so annoying. "Wug" instead of person... "Light" instead of day/morning.... "Morta" instead of gun.... It's annoying and difficult to keep up with. I still don't know what a "Wugmort" is

This book is so /young/ so far... it's hard to get into it w all the stylized lingo....
