I have been reading the book of Mormon two times a year ever since I was aware we were given a blessing for reading it. I begin in Jan and again in Jul. Hearing that someone who had been in the church and was given a high calling and had just read the book of Mormon for the first time had me trying really hard not to drop my jaw. Tomorrow I should of have completed it for my 10th time.

the beginning of Alma!

well not even to the 7th chapter and began to cry. my mom treated me the same way. when I lived with someone who was not abusive I had the same reactions. expecting to be hit.
I don't know if it's gonna help heal or open old wounds. will have to sleep on it and see.

uhh if I had known how long this book was before I started I do not think I would of began. One good thing about ebooks I guess.

I am not understanding why I was asked to read this book. its a real struggle because I have researched this stuff in depth. I have had a testimony of it for years. its really dragging. what helps me through is the spirit cheering me on and I read to feel him with me.

it so slow now but I have been reading a ton of get to it YA books so this really big intro with tons of disgusting politics is taking its toll. Its not a bad book though that is why I keep going. Please get exciting soon.

If I wasn't reading the books back to back I guess I would of been less annoyed of all the repeating information. I am skimming hoping to get to some good stuff. On Top of it all I am soo annoyed with the obvious being ignored.
