I've been reading this since since October...

In all honesty, getting to the 50 page (ish) mark has been a year long process. The shame was too great to be posting my 3 page monthly progress on goodreads. But my recent reading mania has me convinced that I will finish this. And in the foreseeable future, not just before they drop me into my grave...

:O And just like that the entire mood of the story changes.

YA fantasy? postmortem narrator? More Than This by Patrick Ness, possibly.

Closely followed by a 'The Book Thief' reference(which I got even before the title was mentioned, not an outstanding feat) . I quite like Mrs. Cumberbatch and her book thief hating (some would call it loving) ways.

Really endearing so far.

This reminds me of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez short story that I had to read this year for English Exams. Other than the obvious connection of otherwise human character having wings, the atmosphere of both stories parallel each other.

This has been a surprisingly quick read.

"Let Oprah handle it." I like that philosophy.

Obviously, an audiobook isn't the best format to read a choose your own autobiography, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless

I meant Elliot, Elliott's story. I guess staying up to read last night affected my thought processes more than I thought it did.

Hudson's story - This has been my favourite part of the book so far. It still felt entirely too short and more than a little clichéd but I started to appreciate the characters and the dialogue a little more than in previous stories. Also, almost 3 months without reading anything from this book and then 70 pages in one night! Yay me!

I'm reading this frustratingly slow.

I'm loving the direction this is headed in.

Really Really good so far. Side note: I keep imagining Clara looking like Clara from Doctor Who (Jenna Coleman).

Sawyer is ruining this entire thing for me.
