Preferred the movie. If you’re going to do Cinderella, give it a Cinderella finale, not a cryptic ending. Fun in the beginning, ultimately boring.

Thoroughly enjoyed. As usual, an excellent “old fashioned story”. Sounds like something you heard, sitting on a screened porch on a summer evening with an old friend.

Enjoyable fluff, but goes on too long.

I just finished The Other Side of Paradise: Life in the New Cuba. This book for me was si liar to when the optometrist turn the wheel to the correct lens, Many of my questions and emotional estimates of what I was seeing and not quite and hearing and not quite understand were crystal clear for a brief moment and All the corner and courtyards and secrets of Habana were revealed. Amazingly written

I just finished A Wedding on the Banks: A Novel. It was fun. It helps everyone remember that the coast and five miles in are only a small part of a large state

I just finished The Funeral Dress: A Novel. It was a lovely little book, with a sweetness that I found unique. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a very good read

I regret to sayI just finished The Beautiful American. I would love to discover it again. It is a good "old fashioned read". The story line moves ahead at a steady pace - moving back and forward through time without leaving any gaps or over explaining. It is intelligent, interesting and its extended metaphor of the nature of perfume extremely interesting I loved it! STRONGLY recommended
