its interesting trying to read a book and following the footnotes...in this case, the author is the writer and his wife chimes in with various footnotes....a departure from his first book as that one has different tales of life on the road at various times...this one focuses on his adventures with family in Canada the one summer

Interesting read on another famous actor -- Mike Farrell...from M*A*S*H and Providence...interesting read so far on his life and what shaped him...

Having read the author's original book, Metal Cowboy (and loving the adventures he had on his own), I was interested in reading his other books on his bike trips with his family, in this case, their summer trip through Canada...looking forward to the new adventure!

An unexpected find...about an author and his young family and their year in Rome...as Rome is one of those places I want to visit someday, this is a good book to get a feel of the city through the author's eyes....looking forward to reading more of this book

Another in a series of dog books that I am reading....good read on the life of Scout (well at least her first year) an older couple's dog from the New England area

An enjoying this book immensely on Marie Osmond's life...

very interesting book on the aspects of Amish life and how they cope with non-Amish life...

very pleased with this book...would recommend to anyone whos a MASH fan....am on the part where he talks about his MASH experience and talks about his interactions with many of the actors in the show.

The biography of Jamie Farr aka Klinger from TV's MASH....enough said...this is looking to be a very good read.

This is one of those books thats hard to put down...a gem for those of us who are from Chicago or lived/grew up here in either the 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s

For fans of Chicago's Lincoln Park and one of its most beloved directors, Dr. Lester Fisher. So far a very entertaining thome on his life and work at the zoo.

I seem to like Andy Rooney and his columns/writings better than watching him on TV...writing on everything from politics to TV personalities...

Have gotten hooked on this book...Julie Klam IMHO is a certified dog lover...you can tell in her writings...

OK so I admit I like dog stories....this one is no exception...so far a very good read...the author talks of her dogs in her adult life and how they've helped her in many ways....

Been curious about this book for awhile as I don't know much about the Amish....have started reading it and find it interesting...its part anecdotal and part historical about the Amish in general with particular attention to the teens who go through a rite of passage called Rumspringa...
