Good book that follows the paths of three medical students from before "Match Day" (the day that determines where they will have their residency) through their first year....

One of those books that I have wanted to read for awhile on Mother Dolores Hart, the actress (who once worked with Elvis) who quit her career in movies to go into the convent.

Read the series as a teen and am delving into it again...the adventures of a Frontier family in the early 1800s

interesting book on Fr. Martin and his interactions with a New York Theater group in their production of "The Last Days of Judas Iscariot"...a learning experience not only for the cast, but for the author as well....

book on the life of Dick Van Patten

Interesting book on the author's experiences living in Poland in the late 1970s and 80s...

very moving story of an Army Vet whose service dog has literally saved him from the brink....

the autobiography of one of the greatest coaches in basketball, Phil Jackson

Excellent read of essays by Michael Perry...from his monologues at the Big Chautaqua in Northern Wisconsin

Not a bad read so far....very geared towards the guys...perfect man cave reading as it were (on a quiet sports night or between games)

Interesting read so far on one mans quest to go to bowling alleys in 50 states....

an autobiography that reads more like a travelogue....

Looks like a good read on Michael Phelps...2008 Champion Olympic Swimmer....

As a fan of baseball and of biographies, I enjoy books on the players of the game (past and present). Saw this book in the bookstore and thought I would get it since his story looks interesting.

Interesting read on one of Television's stars...James Garner...from his beginnings in Oklahoma through his movie career...

Making good progress through this volume....have gotten through Magic Kingdom For Sale...Sold! and The Black Unicorn and am working on the last of the trilogy in this volume....

great insight on a public school in California...granted it, this was written in the early 2000s, but still relevant today

loving the stories that are being told on Sparky Anderson....good book for any baseball enthusiast

An excellent read about Sparky Anderson, former manager of the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds by one of his closest friends and personal manager, Daniel Ewald. Sort of a baseball version of "Tuesdays with Morrie" the book made famous by Mitch Albion.

First of two volumes of a book I read as a teen....never did read the whole series so now have it in 2 volumes

interesting read on the life of three high school students at Berkeley High School (near SF, California).

Not a bad read...the first part of the book is his life growing up in Urbana Illinois...the part I am on now is about his adventures with the rich and famous of the silver screen

a random pick up at the used book store I frequent since I like any kind of dog story....should be interesting

Thought this would be an autobiography of another child star (Soleil Moon Frye) but its also another how-to parenting book...I do like the stories so far...so a quicker read since I am not a parent.
