Two chapters in and it's edge of your seat good! This one is going to be hard to put down.

Ugh! I am reading these out of order...LOVED Very Valentine! Disliked Supreme Macaroni Company and now the second in the series, Brava, Valentine is very difficult to get through. I am so tired of the tone of the storyline, the arguing and Aunt Feen. I have read worse books. Stick to her earlier writings of The Big Stone Gap series and The Shoemakers Wife.

73 pages in and I am hooked! It's going to be hard to put this one down.

I tried to read this book three times. I stopped put it away and finally came back and picked it up to read again. It quite honestly was so dark and depressing. Once it got past the dust storm and they decided to leave Texas the story came alive. The love of family, a mother's determination to provide for her family and friendship rises above all hardships.
