Kaddish is a beautiful, sad poem

I'm counting this monstrous tome as well as all the little books within it as a way to motivate to reach my reading goal. Some might call it cheating. I call it motivating. Each book is fairly short, and it's modern poetry, so it is quick reading. But it helps keep me inspired to do it this way.

This book is taking me a while, surprisingly since each song anecdote is very short. But there are more than 50 years covered and about 20 songs for each year. Now I'm on 1980. It's a musical education, and I'm really hoping there's an index at the end so I can quickly scroll through and look up the acts I need more study on. I've decided to read one to two years a day so that I can finish in a reasonable time.
