I like that he is aware that he is asking for her to sacrifice everything while he keeps all and gaining her in his life. It's good that he is trying to fins a solution but I don't think there is one besides splitting their time in both places and his job makes it pretty impossible to do that from what I have gathered. It will have to be her choice.
