have had to pause multiple times in the first third bc reading how women continue to be treated systemically makes me physically ill. we will never be free

a bit overstuffed w pretty but uninteresting prose already i fear

also i hate stories that need to use brand names to express just how rich someone is or what the time period is!! a personal ick and nothing to be done about that

i made a mistake listening to this as an audiobook! sorry to me but nothing to be done abt it now

not hitting quite the same as the previous olivie blake books i read... clever dialogue so far but feels like a less effective terry pratchett at times

anything that gets in the way of me reading this book is my enemy

i don’t want to do anything besides read this book
