Spectacular read so far and I really wanted to dislike this book. Recipes are easy to follow and understand. The sections on swapping out proteins is highly educational. I strongly recommend that this book be on every ones shelves and that it become part of any Essentials package for cooks and any one asking this question on a daily basis "How do I feed a household with mixed diets."

I have to say that I am impressed so far with the style of writing. She breaks the book down into Materia Prima (Prime Ingredients as she calls them and I have to say that as she writes the Salt section I am transported to the very sea she is standing at and I can see the Salt being harvested. Her recipes are simple in appearence, which is her point so far yet elegent in execution.
