Finished the second book - such a chaotic story, confusing and needlessly overwrought. Big decision whether to keep going.

After finishing the first book in the trilogy, I am disappointed. The story is not strong and the characters are inconsistently (and occasionally preposterously) written. I will go on with the story to see what the author can make of it, but at the moment it‘s a 2-star flop.
