The format on the eBook is bad. Transitions between stories is such that I've blown through the end of almost every short story and realized a paragraph or page into the next that the last one was over and we were onto the next.

The writing and pacing on this story is awesome. Short chapters without being choppy. Lots of action. Stuff blows up. Awesome!

In 1972, all the creative parties involved in Rocky had the same agent. That's where the author's put the seed that lead to the angry feelings between the principle creators of the RHPS.

It's sad how many of these guy don't like each other anymore...from the tone of the book so far. It's made up of interviews with the creators and people who were there. With as happy as RHPS comes across on screen, even with its ultimate end, this reads like the Sword of Damocles hanging over my head.

The house is shaping up to be a character in its own right in this story. The word it is noticeably over used in the first few pages, but once you get rolling, the story flow is great. Wish I didn't have stuff to do or I'd be reading it right now.

some of the subject matter here is really hard to read, not badly written, just feely emotional and the lurking evil in the human ID and the power of stupid people acting in large groups.

Lot of good stuff here. Maybe too much. Wonder where this is going to leave me with the promise of this being a Book One. I normally steer clear of -ilogies until I have a good idea of flavor and flow. High hopes that this maintains and doesn't leave me short of a climax at the end.

The story has a good set up so far. The downside is that there is a lot of jumping back and forth along the story's timeline making it hard to keep track of the overall story order. Each chapter seems to take place 4 months later than the previous one while the next one takes place two weeks before this one and the one after that takes place a month after the one before this one. Still digging it.

Reading this one online and still haven't gotten to dig in deep yet. Great set up so far.

This reads like the best of Top Ten, Astro City, and Stormwatch when they hit their marks.

Despite a slow and staggery start, this became very Douglas Adams-esque as they boarded their starship.

Modern sensibilities are damping my enthusiasm for this as I go through it. Mina went from a strong character before Lucy's death to a classic woman of that era where the men are men and the women need defending. Meh.

The revolution seemed awfully short lived. The author did a pretty good "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" at the end of book one mixed with another trope that I can't mention without giving away the gist of book two. It's good so far.
