This collection of stories is such a fun read. If you have a chance, check out the short story "A Slight Matter of Contract"--that one gave me chills!

As with most anthologies, this one is hit and miss - some of the stories were better than others. Some creative worldbuilding.

The book didn't click with me. My imagination escaped the snare of wonder that I like a book to immerse me with.

The story ideas are great. I didn't identify with the characters and didn't feel the stories. And I had issues with the formatting of the e-book. Transitions between stories were such that you could blow through the end of one short into the next and have to back up to regain your balance.

Opinions being what opinions are this is one that I suggest you decide for yourselves.

YMMV.

Mixing science fiction with humour is a delicate task and Larry nearly succeeds in it. The stories had captivating ideas and great built ups, but most of them ended in an anti-climax. I generally do not like short-stories, which are not "short"; however in this book it was the other way round. The beginning of all the stories aroused an interest, but I was left wanting for more "body" and better endings.

I must add that I loved the cover.

I won this through LibraryThing and I'm not sure I can finish it.

I'm just not finding the stories funny. Also mine is a PDF ebook version and there's no table of contents.
