i hate when history/biography authors are so needlessly dramatic. immediately after a paragraph detailing isaac cline’s (now we know, very wrong) explanation on how wind works: “A twentieth-century audience would have shot Isaac dead.” section break. so out of pocket and for what??

why are the parts i dgaf about so long

honestly the casting in the show for anathema device was a flop. classic scenario of casting the most symmetrically-faced woman ever who has never been told they have a large forehead in a role of a girl who is supposed to be at least slightly odd-looking and odd-acting.

im surprised so far at how much the novel is focused in crowley’s pov and how much less insight we get into aziraphale but ig that’s part of making a good adaptation to tv
