Okay. Thats where the name Moonraker comes from. Drax is building a rocket called a Moonraker which he plans to use to destroy London. Sounds like classic Bond.

There's not as much action in this one. And the pace is slower.

So far I think this is my least favorite of the Bond books. It is good but its just not as good as Casino Royale or Live and Let Die.

Drax sure lost a lot of money. I'm surprised he's not pissed at Bond.

So far Bond is losing. It's not quite as intense as the card games in Casino Royale though.

Okay Bond is playing against Drax. This should be interesting.

What is Bond going to do now?

So far I think this is better than Casino Royale. I'm still not sure if I like it more than Live and Let Die or not.

So now we have the villain Sir Hugo Drax. He's so far not as villainous as Le Chiffre or Mr. Big but then again this is his first appearance in the book.

So Drax has been cheating at cards and M has Bond go investigate. Interesting. I'm not even that far into the book and already I think it's better than the movie.

So far the novel hasn't shown Drax but he still has more of a presence than the one in the 1979 movie.

A direct reference to the previous book. That's not something that happens very often in the movies.

I can already tell this is going to be a slower book than Casino Royale and Live and Let Die. Which isn't a bad thing. Hopefully we'll get good character development.

This reminds me of that one scene in For Your Eyes Only.

At least I'm almost done.

If these were likable characters then the book wouldn't be so boring.

Wow this book is boring. It's like when I read The Postman. It started out great but then went down a wrong turn and got stupid. I will say though this book at least isn't stupid.

I am now at the four fifths mark and this book is not getting any better.

This book is starting to get worst and worst now.

Once again. This climax would be more exciting if I cared about these characters.

I hope this doesn't have an incredibly lame ending.

Now at the two thirds mark and I'm hoping that there is at least a good ending to this book.

I still can't believe how much potential this book had.

I'm just skimming pages now. It's actually gotten to that point.
