The author starts off by stating that all too often decisions are made under the noise of opinion and anecdotal information. I couldn't agree with him more. Too little emphasis is placed on empirical data.
So what does he do next? Goes on a diatribe about racism based on emotion and very little data. He then goes on anecdotally about this youth.
