Not worth continuing.

Gave up on it!

I just finished Ancillary Mercy (Imperial Radch) and gave it 2 stars.

The author starts off by stating that all too often decisions are made under the noise of opinion and anecdotal information. I couldn't agree with him more. Too little emphasis is placed on empirical data.
So what does he do next? Goes on a diatribe about racism based on emotion and very little data. He then goes on anecdotally about this youth.
Trusting that this turns around

I have read other works by Conroy and they had some credibility. About half way through and this is no more that a drug store pulp (do they even exist anylonger). At least my ebook isn't killing any trees
