slow day at work means I blaze through the book. at this rate I'll be able to read at least one scary book for Shocktober.

Why am I filled with dread just by reading a description of canvas being made? How can someone write well enough to make me afraid of canvas?

this book is ridiculous in the best possible way. part murder mystery, part cyberpunk, part pulp fiction war story it's been great so far in the amount if strangeness that has transpired. also: thus is about 1000 times more intelligent than I was expecting.

Still very good. Charcters are starting to all meet each other.

What? 132? How am I moving through this book so quickly? It's so crazy good I can't put it down.

It starts with someone getting their heart cut out. That is a bold opening.

I'm really digging this book. I've been flying through it and had to try to describe it to people who seemed really interested in the fact that the title said "Heaven". I tried to say that it was really strange, and that I was right at the beginning but they still seemed to think I should know exactly what the book is about.
