I'm supposed to be reading about nazis but listening to Canadian scholars argue about how 19th century explorers accidentally identified one tiny Arctic island as a different one a mile down the way is for some reason compulsively readable.

I don't know how I've never reviewed one of my favorite books on here, but here we are. Every time I pick it up I realize my rose-tinted glasses about how great it is aren't rose-tinted ENOUGH.
