This is so beautifully written and poignant but it also very, very slow

Ruiz de Burton is SCATHING with her review of Northeast Puritans and she is not wrong

There is such much shade being thrown for an 1800s novel and I love it

The most unrealistic part of this whole book is Jacob- an eboy in a rock band- not knowing who MCR is

This is just as cute as the cover

Every single character in this book would be magically cured if they would just share their "secret" with the other characters

I’m not sure how I feel about this… it feels rather juvenile and a tad under-edited, but it’s an easy read so I’ll give it more time
