Are we there yet?

I've spent so much time reading graphic novels and manga this year that it's time to veer far back into the opposite direction... Classics :)

So much exposition.

My foray into forms of media I have previously ignored (in this case, manga) continue to draw me away from my reading goal this year. I can't help feeling like I'm cheating the goodreads counter, but at the same time, I still wish to document my progress and review the volumes I'm reading.

How come dudes don't read books?

Only in a damned ASOIAF book can I read a hundred more pages and have it only amount to an 8% increase in completion. Phew.

I keep hearing talk on how great the later books in The Expanse series are, but I just could not get through Book 3. Should I pick it up again and just try and push through?
