Book 2, A Gathering of Gargoyles: 3.5/5

I liked the introduction of new characters and more action on Aeriel’s part. I’m not sure how to feel about Irrylath and Aeriel being cousins since she’s the princess of Pirs but I guess we’ll see.

Finished book 1, The Darkangel: 3.75/5. A bit slow in the beginning, but the fairytale/folktale storytelling is immersing and engaging.

I only have the last chapter left and stupid Spotify said I’m out of listening hours. Truly tragic as I wait for the library loan 😭
