I've never read a book where a character had Type 1 Diabetes, as someone that has had type 1 Diabetes for 18 years (I'm 21) it feels nice to see some representation. I can really relate too Maeve in a a deeper way

losing brain cells. It does not seem as though the characters relationship is progressing? It doesn't feel like they validated their relationship. It's just a lot of personal thoughts they keep tp themselves and I wish they would just tell each other.

Day 2 of reading the, Normal People, and all I have to say is that this book is it. This book kind of reminds me of the people who peaked in high school, but not in college. I'm really enjoying Lorraine and what she brings to the book. I like how she is invasive with Connell's life, because Connell needs some reality checking. I thought I wouldn't like this book but I am really enjoying it.
