Reading this book, and the five or six other books in the series, is a major reading project for me. Thank god for Marvin, my new iOS e-reader and its deep view feature, which really helps with keeping track of a plethora of Chinese names.

Okay. The pace has been cranked up a bit.

Past half way a while back. The book is holding my interest, rather than gripping or seizing it. It's a walk in the park, so far. I keep waiting for it to turn savage or something. Not that I want it to, but I guess I just don't know what I should be expecting, but I will be somewhat disappointed if the pace doesn't begin to pick up soon.

I will get to the end of this book, even though so far it has offered no new insight into what makes this most detested of Australian prime ministers tick.

As much as I'm enjoying this series, reading progress is very SLOW. Have just taken time off from reading to install a new e-reader on my iPad, Marvin, which so far is looking pretty good.

This is the second book by Cat Winter I've had the pleasure of reading. I feel there is something rare and wonderful about her writing. Not only does she handle words with great sensitivity but I find myself trusting her completely to direct the course of the story in the best possible way. And that is something I don't say about very many authors.

What a book! Now that the end is drawing near, I want to go slow, and enjoy every last detail of the story.

What a little gem this book is. Without ceremony i have been wafted who knows where. Something is not as it seems, but what?
