Zombie fun. Nothing new but done well

Very fun. Similar to 28 Days Later

Going from a Booker winner to a pulpy zombie book is a hard shift. But I can tell you which one is more enjoyable

It got awarded the Booker Prize because of its unconventional fictional story telling. But it’s plotless and boring as hell. Honestly the runner ups are usually better than the ones that actually win the prize. Boring and pretentious navel gazing. At least it’s short

Using some of the more uncommon fantasy creatures is kind of cool. Something isn’t clicking for me though

Interesting but frustrating. Jalen was a rogue but likable in some ways. Jorg is vile and a psycho. Child trauma or no, he’s a piece of shit that I hope will loose. But with two books after this I don’t think he will
