I don't understand why books that haven't been published yet are included in the Goodreads Choice Awards.
How is that fair? For ones with popular authors, they are getting votes just based on the name, not the book. For lesser known authors, no one has read them and it now precludes them from a potential win next year when people have had a chance to actually read their book.
