The story is very descriptive and the use of scenery in the story is amazing.

The book's characters are very well developed. I enjoy how all details are well explained.

Only mildly surprised

The story seems to have heavy characterization and plot development, but is not as fast paced as I hoped. I would seriously like to know just how much Canyon, Jones, the husband, and the have you figured it out yet phrase fit into the story. I anticipate another affair in the story and for canyon to be abducting the artists or persuading them to become It and be included in back road, indie art shows.

I sense a relationship coming in this book.

I think that the book is good so far. The decision the girl is having to make is similar to Katniss in the hunger games.
