Not my favorite Coonts novel. Its premise is distracting for the (thankfully) inaccurate depiction of an irrational power grab by President Obama. The author clearly thinks very little of our political class. I'm continuing to read, hoping this book swerves back out of the political realm, and returns to the familiar characters and techno-thriller turf that are the author's forte.

I sure miss the restraint and self awareness of politicians not so long ago, as recalled in Rumsfeld's Rules...
