This book has gone on for too long. Just when you think it's over, it's not. There's too many problems and too many enemies to focus on.

I finished this book 5 days ago, but it affected me on such an emotional level, I refuse to write a review for it until I've had time to mull it over and have time to sit down and give it the review it deserves.

It took everyone entirely way too long to become fearful. 2/3 of the cruise ship sized boat was dead before folks were like, "Hmm... are we safe here?"

It is WILD to me how calm everyone is with 2 confirmed deaths and 3 mermaids confirmed on deck. These are the bravest and most unaffected scientists in the world.

"This man, my food friend, had his face bitten off and was eaten alive. Let's calmly go back to our cabins and talk and giggle and flirt."

It's like an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
