Okay but how is this book even better than the movie?? Can’t wait for dad + linds to EXPOSE GEORGE HARVEY FOR THE SCUMBAG THAT HE IS !!! also ruth wasn’t in the movie to my recollection and that’s a shame bc she is a treasure.

I’ve already had two little cries, I’d say we’re off to a solid start.

Shout out to AG Howard for spelling everything out for the reader bc she knows I have the memory of a goldfish and need the refresher.

So is this whole story told from Jamie's POV then? That's... unfortunate.

This idea is so interesting but I'm having such a hard time feeling connected to the story...

The only points this book gets from me is for all the very minute tudors details capin sprinkled in (“a little neck”, “no other wish but his”, “You we’re together for like, 25 years!”) that sht is fire. The rest I kind of want to set on fire.

Maybe the question is not “what is the plot?” But rather “is there a plot?”

It’d be gr8 if I knew where this plot was supposed to be going 🤷🏼‍♀️

So far the only character I enjoy is Parker (as in Jane Parker/Boleyn), weirdly. Also if George is a character why isn't there Mary?
