One of my pet peeves of this book is the dialogue. It’s so hard to get involved when 80% of the interactions feel like an interview meant to give you plot details. At this point I really want to DNF and drop the whole series, but there are lots of people saying it’s a good mystery so I might resist a few more chapters. But damn…
